Bead Soup is located at 8600 Foundry Street Suite 604-207 Savage, Maryland 20763. Since we opened our doors we have become known in the DC and Baltimore Metropolitan areas as a friendly whimsical store with a little bit of everything. We offer a full selection of beads, beading supplies, tools, books, magazines, classes and kits.

Monday and Tuesday Closed

Wednesday-Saturday 10-6:00 p.m.

Sunday 12-5:00 p.m.

Monday and Tuesday are appointment only if you are traveling in the area. Please call prior to your visit

We will follow the guidelines of Howard County:

Everyone will need to wear a mask if masks are mandated at the time - no exceptions.

I'm so lucky to live close and to have found this shop. As others have said, it's much more than a "shop." It's a beautiful art space that encourages creativity in each guest with the help of infinitely patient instructors. But more important, Bead Soup is a place for fellowship, good cheer and finding the artist in everyone.

Living At The Beach Tall Tea Light

The beach life is exactly what everyone needs. It is the 2nd in our series of tall houses and this one can’t be any cuter with all it’s pastel colors

This tea light double the size of our original tea lights and it covers the whole tea light so the design is a stained glass effect so the light appears to glow through the beads.

All the tea lights are even count peyote so they work up quickly. Please note that you must know how to do even count peyote because with this purchase you will only be receiving a word and color chart along with the coordinating size 11/0 Delicas listed in the color chart. Each purchase is for one kit that includes enough Delicas to create the tea light, the tea light and a printed word and color chart.

Each kit comes with a battery operated tealight. Batteries can be replaced so the tealight will last a very long time.

Our samples were made with 6lb Fireline and a size 10 beading needle. Thread and/or needles are not included in this kit. We did not experiment with other beading thread and/or needles so we cannot guarantee the outcome if you use something else.

Please note that this purchase is for a kit with with a word and color chart only. You will not receive a finished tealight with this purchase
