Bead Soup is located at 8600 Foundry Street Suite 604-207 Savage, Maryland 20763. Since we opened our doors we have become known in the DC and Baltimore Metropolitan areas as a friendly whimsical store with a little bit of everything. We offer a full selection of beads, beading supplies, tools, books, magazines, classes and kits.

Monday and Tuesday Closed

Wednesday-Saturday 10-6:00 p.m.

Sunday 12-5:00 p.m.

Monday and Tuesday are appointment only if you are traveling in the area. Please call prior to your visit

We will follow the guidelines of Howard County:

Everyone will need to wear a mask if masks are mandated at the time - no exceptions.
Please ask for a mask if you did not bring one with you
Hand sanitizer will stationed at the front and back of the store

I'm so lucky to live close and to have found this shop. As others have said, it's much more than a "shop." It's a beautiful art space that encourages creativity in each guest with the help of infinitely patient instructors. But more important, Bead Soup is a place for fellowship, good cheer and finding the artist in everyone.

Starlette Beads

The Starlette Bead is the 4th in the series of beaded rings. They are quick and easy so they are perfect for any skill level. You will receive printed instructions with diagrams and step-by-step written instructions.

You will receive multiple beads in three different sizes and you will pick the series of beads you want to use so they will not necessarily look exactly like the picture shown. These are almost like freeform beading.

Depending on your choice of colors you should be able to make 3-4 Starlette beads
