Bead Soup is located at 8600 Foundry Street Suite 604-207 Savage, Maryland 20763. Since we opened our doors we have become known in the DC and Baltimore Metropolitan areas as a friendly whimsical store with a little bit of everything. We offer a full selection of beads, beading supplies, tools, books, magazines, classes and kits.

Monday and Tuesday Closed

Wednesday-Saturday 10-6:00 p.m.

Sunday 12-5:00 p.m.

Monday and Tuesday are appointment only if you are traveling in the area. Please call prior to your visit

We will follow the guidelines of Howard County:

Everyone will need to wear a mask if masks are mandated at the time - no exceptions.

I'm so lucky to live close and to have found this shop. As others have said, it's much more than a "shop." It's a beautiful art space that encourages creativity in each guest with the help of infinitely patient instructors. This set makes the perfect gift for any beader especially the beader who has everything. All three pieces will come in our Bead Soup signature purple.

The first piece is our very popular bead sorter which will sort your size 6/0 beads all the way down to your size 15/0 beads. Remove the top and pour your beads in and there is a sieve that allows your beads to move through each layer and sort themselves automatically. Each layer is a tight fit so that it can also be easily stored

The next is our needle holder which has a compartment that houses your different size needles which each needle listed. These 3D needle holders are over 2 inches tall so they can hold long or short needles. Each side is sectioned off so that is will keep each size needle separate. Also, each size is labelled so you never have to guess the needle size ever again.

Our newest item is a bead triangle so you can scoop up all your beads and of course, it is in our favorite Bead Soup purples.
