Bead Soup is located at 8600 Foundry Street Suite 604-207 Savage, Maryland 20763. Since we opened our doors we have become known in the DC and Baltimore Metropolitan areas as a friendly whimsical store with a little bit of everything. We offer a full selection of beads, beading supplies, tools, books, magazines, classes and kits.

Monday and Tuesday Closed

Wednesday-Saturday 10-6:00 p.m.

Sunday 12-5:00 p.m.

Monday and Tuesday are appointment only if you are traveling in the area. Please call prior to your visit

We will follow the guidelines of Howard County:

Everyone will need to wear a mask if masks are mandated at the time - no exceptions.
Please ask for a mask if you did not bring one with you
Hand sanitizer will stationed at the front and back of the store

I'm so lucky to live close and to have found this shop. As others have said, it's much more than a "shop." It's a beautiful art space that encourages creativity in each guest with the help of infinitely patient instructors. But more important, Bead Soup is a place for fellowship, good cheer and finding the artist in everyone.

Winter Cardinal Key Chain

I think everyone has a fondness for cardinals. I know I do and Jo designed a beautiful one in brick stick so be sure you know the ins and outs of brick stitch because you will receive a word chart and color chart but no step-by-step instructions on how to start and stop brick stitch.

You will receive printed instructions and enough size 11/0 Delicas to make one cardinal. The cardinal is attached to a heart closure with jump rings. There are also two charms that are attached with jump rings. One is a gold plated fern/pinecone charm and the other being a holiday ball.

Please note this is a kit only. You will not receive a finished cardinal key chain with this purchase.
