PLEASE NOTE: This class is now being taught Hybrid. Melissa will be in Portugal so she will be teaching it in person in Portugal but anyone can now join us through Zoom. The Hybrid (Zoom) portion of the class will be taught on East Coast time from 10-4:00 p.m.
The Fairie Wristlet was designed just for the Bead Soup beading event in Porches Portugal. Learn how to create this fantasy-inspired wristlet using a combination of bead embroidery and bead weaving techniques. This tiny purse is the perfect size for a license and credit cards and has a removable beaded strap that can also be tucked inside. A custom LED light circuit from Evan Designs lights up the central cabochon for a magical glowing effect at night. The eclectic kit contains beads and findings from Germany, Czech Republic, Japan, Austria, and the USA, plus cork fabric from Portugal.
This project is perfect for any skill level. Since this project is bead embroidery it should be perfect for anyone even if English is not your first language
Kit fee $86 This is a kit only class so you must purchase a kit prior to the event so that you can bring the kit with you. You will also need to provide your preferred needle and thread for bead embroidery.

The best airport to fly into is Faro. It is approximately 45 minutes from where we will be beading. You can also fly into Lisbon which you can take a bus to our location but it is approx 3 hours away but Lisbon is an amazing location to explore while you are in Porches.

All classes will be held in Elizabeth’s condo which is in the same resort listed above. The resort is right next to two Algarve beaches. There is a neighboring hotel which is a 2 min walk away with many condos within the same building..
The evenings will be spent exploring Porches so feel free to sight see with us after our beading sessions are over. We will be eating in town and exploring the local pottery, bakeries, beaches and more.
