Saturday November 9th 11-5:00 p.m. and
Sunday November 10th 11-5:00 p.m.
Description:
Spend the morning creating your own focal pieces using the traditional Mod Podge technique on wood pieces. Then the optional crackle glaze is applied to create a vintage look to your piece which is stained with acrylic paint.
Spend the afternoon applying your focals to a cigar box, along with your own beads as this is not a "cookie cutter" type of class....this is all about exploring your own creativity.
I will guide you thru creating cabs. Then creating a layout for your cigar box or chosen shape. Applying papers to your box and how to design around the papers and shapes with beads.
You will need to bring your own seed beads and cabs as I will not supply those, but rest assured the first day creating will spark the beads you will want to use and you can gather them and bring them back the 2nd day! It's SO easy and SO FUN!!!!!!
Supplies are provided by myself and are available for you to play. Including cab materials, papers, wooden rings and fabrics. Fee for two days of material use is $150
You bring: Cigar box, beads, any cool doo dads you might want to use....the usual beading devices (scissors, threads, etc) IF there is an image you like, please bring it. Print it on 28lb paper. I will also have images....
We will have plenty of cigar boxes available before the class. There will also be a $150 supply fee due to Sherry on the first day of class
* All classes need to be paid in full at the time of registration. There are no refunds or transfers for any classes at Bead Soup unless the instructor cancels and cannot reschedule.
