Reclaimed silver particles from old electronics suspended in an organic compound, which when fired in a kiln after molding, shaping or carving become a solid piece of
fine silver.... sound magical? It is! And you can be the alchemist!
This PMC technique class will give you a very solid base of understanding and chance to work with this awesome medium. For this lesson, we will be working with Art Clay, fine silver 20gms.
Texture, maintaining texture, logistics of folding, connecting texture will be a few things covered and then some!
Your pieces created in class will be fired and returned to Bead Soup for pick up.
A variety of textures will be available for use during class.
class fee $115 includes silver clay and use of tools and textures. (How you fill/ hang your pocket will be discussed but is on your own)
