Bee Butt Bee Embroidery
This is one of my favorite projects that was created during COVID. I name it the Bee Butt bag because I thought the bee and it’s bugle bead trail was just the cutest. This bead embroidery project does not need to be put on a bag but please be aware that the instructions are written to have you attach the pieces to something and does not give the instruction to complete the backing so the pieces can stand alone as if it were a pendant so you may need the knowledge to finish it in a different manner if you want to wear it.
This project is perfect for the beader who has experience with bead embroidery and bead weaving. Techniques include back stitch, peyote bezeling and dimensional bead embroidery. The beads used are Miyuki seed beads in differenet sizes with a Swarovski Rivoli as the center piece of the flower.
You will need multiple size 11/0 seed beads (our sample is done with Miyuki beads), multiple size 15/0 seed beads, 1- size 11/0 Delica , 3mm bugle beads, 1-size 12mm rivoli, bead foundation, thread and a beading needle.
