Blizzard the Polar Bear Download
It is SO COLD in Maryland that Blizzard is loving the fact that he is now a download and everyone can enjoy him! There are eight different colors of size 11/0 Delicas used in our sample so if you want to create an image like ours it is recommended you use a variation of colors in that amount.
This fob can be used to hang from a purse, key chain, bead bag or wherever you want it to hang. You can also use these as a tiny tapestry or ornament. Once you have the pattern you can work it up in any color you wantThe metal component is approximately 2 1/4’ long and the peyote strip is slightly over 2” long.
This strip is done in even count peyote. You will receive a word and color chart but you must know how to start and stop the even count peyote because you do not receive these instructions with your kit. The peyote strip is zipped on the back side of the fob which is looped over the D ring. This image does not have to be made into a fob. You can make a tiny tapestry or made into an ornament and hung on a tree.
We did not experiment with other beads so we are unsure of the outcome if you use anything other than size 11/0 Delicas. Our sample was created with size 6lb Fireline and a size 10 beading needle. Though we did not try other thread and/or needles we are confident that substitutions can be made
