Making a Bola Bezel for Rivolis
This Bola technique is a beading technique created by Cath Thomas. These instructions have been approved by Cath to make sure there were no design collisions for anything she may have produced in the past.
This technique will take you through the stages of bezeling a 8mm chaton all the way up to a 16mm rivoli. The the beads in the bezels used were Miyuki and no experiments were done with any other brand of beads. The pattern uses size 11/0 Delicas, 11/0 and 15/0 seed beads and 3mm rounds in the bail.
This pattern is not recommended for beginners. It should be perfect for advanced beginner and above that has experience with multiple stitching techniques.
