Pin Cushion Download
This project is perfect for the intermediate to advanced bead weaver. You will need to locate the wooden bowl which is 30mm and is pictured in the Fun section of the website, though they are no longer available for purchase from us. Our sample was created with Miyuki beads. You need multiple size 11/0 Delicas and size 15/0 seed beads. We used stretch velvet for the cover of the pin cushion and the embellishments though not necessary are 4-6mm sequins. If you do not use Miyuki beads we are unsure of the end result of the bead counts we used for the 30mm wooden bowl. There is also a small amount of stuffing used to create the pin cushion
6lb Fireline and a size 12 beading needle were used to create our samples. We did not experiment with other thread and/or needles so we are unsure if other types are suitable for this projects.
